About our trips
Atlantic Waves runs small-group whale watching and private sailing trips from Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje, on the south-west coast of Tenerife. Our three Barco Azul yachts — Mizendoha, Lina Siete and Madoudou — sail to the pilot whales three times a day, with a swim stop in the calm bay at Diego Hernández beach. For a longer day or a celebration, book the whole yacht for 3 to 7 hours.

Our trips depart from Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. You will receive the exact meeting point and arrival instructions after booking.
How long are the boat trips?
Our shared whale watching tour lasts 3 hours. Private yacht charters are available from 3 to 7 hours.
Will we see whales and dolphins?
Tenerife is one of the best places in Europe to observe whales and dolphins throughout the year. Sightings are highly likely, although wildlife encounters can never be guaranteed.
What is included in the trip?
Drinks, snacks or a sandwich and snorkelling equipment are included, depending on the selected experience. Full details are provided on each tour page.
What should I bring?
We recommend sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, a towel and a light jacket. Please arrive at the meeting point on time.
Are the trips suitable for children?
Yes, our boat trips are family-friendly. Children must remain under adult supervision throughout the experience.
